Whispers of the Body - 30 hour Yin Training

30 Hours October 17, 18, 19

Step into the quiet, poetic world of Yin Yoga with Whispers of the Body: The Art of Yin — a 30-hour training that invites you to listen deeply, move gently, and explore the landscape of your inner world.

This immersive experience is designed for both yoga teachers and dedicated students who are curious to deepen their understanding of yin as a transformative, embodied practice.

This training is an invitation to slow down and meet yourself where you are with softness, presence, and profound respect for the body’s natural intelligence.

What You'll Experience:

Embodied Anatomy & Functional Understanding Explore the uniqueness of the human form through the lens of bone variation and fascial tension, moving beyond visual alignment to a truly functional approach to asana.

Yin Yoga Teaching Skills You’ll receive everything you need to create intelligent, supportive yin classes for all able-bodied participants including guidance on sequencing, theme weaving, language, creative prop use, and pose modification and variation.

Energetics in Practice Discover the subtle energetic body through the lens of fascial trains, myofascial meridians. Learn how to use yin yoga as a tool to balance, nourish, and awaken the energetic system in yourself and in your students.

The Koshas: A Multi-Layered Approach to Practice Deepen your understanding of yin yoga through the Kosha system the five layers of being. Learn to teach and practice in a way that touches not only the physical body but also the breath, mind and intuition— guiding students toward holistic integration.

Nervous System-Informed Practice You’ll be introduced to the foundations of trauma-informed teaching, including choice-based language, invitational cueing, and understanding the nervous system. Learn how to foster an environment of trust, safety, and autonomy where students can explore at their own pace.

Meditation, Journaling & Self-Inquiry Through meditation, free movement, guided journaling, and embodied presence, you’ll access the deeper wisdom stored in the body and gently begin to release tension, stories, and old patterns.

Connection, Dialogue & Support Expect to be well-held through open discussion, peer feedback, and the support of a like-hearted community learning not only about yin, but also about yourself as a teacher and student.
