Shake the Dust with Allie Kennedy

Friday July 17th 6:15-7:30pm

Guided by rhythm and poetic themes, we move through waves of shaking, jumping, dancing, strength, yoga, and moments of stillness. The invitation is simple: move honestly, breathe deeply, and let the body release what it no longer needs to carry.

This is not about perfect shapes or choreography. It’s about expression, resilience, and reconnecting to the wild intelligence of the body.

Expect to sweat, feel, move freely, and leave lighter, clearer, and more alive.

Turn Yinward - Yin Yoga workshop Water Element

When: Fri 31st July, 6:30 - 8:30pm
Investment: $45

As the seasons shift and nature begins to slow down, winter invites us to do the same—to rest, restore, and reconnect with our inner reserves.

Join Fiona for a deeply nourishing 2-hour Turn Yinward Yoga workshop inspired by the Water Element and the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

In TCM, Water is the element of winter—connected to the kidneys and bladder, our vital energy reserves, and our ability to cultivate deep rest, resilience, and inner strength. This workshop is designed to help you slow down, release tension, and support your wellbeing during the cooler months.

Through long-held, floor-based postures and moments of stillness, we'll embody the essence of Water: softness, introspection, and flow. You'll also learn simple TCM practices and seasonal wellness insights to support balance during the winter months.

This is a beautiful opportunity to slow down, soften, and reconnect with the nourishing, restorative energy of winter.

Release • Move • Restore A Myofascial Release for Neck, Shoulders & Upper Back - with Fiona Liu

Sunday 19th July | 2:00–4:30pm
A journey from tension to ease

Release → self-massage with therapy balls
Move → mindful, targeted movement to improve mobility
Restore → nourishing Yin Yoga to replenish body and mind

Do your neck and shoulders often feel tight? Do you experience upper back tension, stiffness from desk work, stress, driving, or simply the demands of daily life?

Join Fiona for an afternoon dedicated to releasing and restoring the areas of the body that commonly hold tension—the neck, shoulders, arms, chest, and upper back.

Using therapy balls, we'll begin with self-myofascial release techniques to massage tight spots, improve circulation, and rehydrate the fascia that surrounds and supports your muscles. This can help ease tension, reduce stiffness, and create more freedom of movement.

From there, we'll explore mindful, functional movements designed to improve mobility, posture, and body awareness. These gentle yet effective movements help the body integrate the changes created through release work, leaving you feeling more open, supported, and at ease.

We'll finish with a deeply nourishing Yin Yoga practice, allowing the body and nervous system to settle, restore, and absorb the benefits of the session.

Benefits may include:

• Relief from neck, shoulder, and upper back tension
• Improved mobility and range of motion
• Better posture and body awareness
• Reduced effects of stress and repetitive movement patterns
• A greater sense of ease, spaciousness, and wellbeing

No previous yoga or myofascial release experience is necessary.

Breathe In, Let it go - A Breathwork Workshop

Facilitated by Taane Mete and Jason Mobberly. SATURDAY 6-8pm July 4th

A 2 hour journey of Breathwork - Waiata - Karakia and a healing tea ceremony.

A deeply transformative practice that softens the edges and brings to light the spaces in the body. The powerful connection of the breath reorganises and calibrates the internal and external body and most importantly opens the doorway to feel a little deeper.

Taane has embarked on his song writing journey and incorporates his own songs into the practice. Taane is a Rongoa Mãori healer, dancer and choreographer, a teacher of yoga, HITT Pilates Pulse and breathwork. Taane presents all of his work at Aro-Ha Retreat in Glenorchy.

With over 40 years of movement experience, Taane blends ancient wisdom and traditional themes to offer a holistic approach to creativity and wellbeing. He descends from Ngati Kahungunu and Ngati Koroki-Kahukura iwi (tribes), and his work incorporates Matauranga Maori (Maori knowledge) into his practice.

Jason Mobberly - Over the last four years Jason has explored Breath-work and embodiment practices that have been a profound part of his personal journey of self-discovery.
